Jeseth Delgado Vela, PhD candidate in the Love research group, is a recipient of the 2016 Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship. This fellowship supports outstanding doctoral students who have achieved candidacy and are actively working on dissertation research and writing. Congratulations to Krista for receiving an Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the Charles E. Via, Jr. Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech on April 23. Krista earned her Master’s Degree in 2004, and her Ph.D. Degree in 2008 from Virginia Tech. Krista with her Ph.D. advisor Peter Vikesland at the Awards Banquet at Virginia Tech.
