Environmental biotechnology, resource recovery, microbial ecology, anaerobic digestion and fermentation technology

Research Project

My PhD project focuses on developing sustainable technologies for biochemical and bioenergy production from different organic waste streams. My research also involves studying microbial communities governing these biochemical processes in an engineered ecosystem and hence devise different microbial-based management to improve the efficiency and stability of the process.
